saya baru pulang dari portugal petang tadi. bertemu dgn orang yg buat hati saya berdegup kencang. tp saya taktau hati dia berdegup tak bila tengok saya ;)
namun begitu, ini bukanlah persoalan yg saya mahu bangkitkan.
persoalan saya hari ini, ialah,
why do people put flowers on the grave?
saya telah berjalan2 seorang diri di cemetery berdekatan dengan moreira, dan i noticed that everyone has to leave flowers and candles on the grave. terus terdetik, this can't be a religious kinda thing, coz we muslims pon put flowers on the grave. kadang2 tanam, kadang2 tabur. but why?
ok, saya nak tido sekarang. i am really tired from this 6days trip.
if ada jodoh, ada la kot kan? ;)

walaupun u bukan nak cerita pasal berdegup degup tu, i nak komen jugak pasal tu.
:) semoga hati dia pun berdegup2 jugaklah.
berdegup dengan kencang seperti genderang mau perang ke? i pray that the feeling is mutual :)
on why people leave bouquet of flowers or tabur bunga di atas pusara, i dont get that too..
but i was told once that if we grow plants kat kubur, selagi pokok tu hidup subur kat kubur tu, daun-daun pokok tu akan turut berzikir dan mendoakan kesejahteraan si mati.. that is - if we frequently visit the kubur, cite prayers and Quranic verses lah.. :)
but i am not sure lah whether it's true or just bidaah..
bestnyer... hati u boleh lagi berdegup kencang ;)
i can't recall when was my last time feeling like that :( sobs!
hahaha..see which part of your entry got the most attention?hahaha!happens all the time.
aku lagi best..komen takde kene mengena langsung!
haahahh sasha, you are sooo right. the one-liner persoalan didnt get much attention. lol.
cacah, crushio, imelda, saya harap jugak the feeling is mutual.
as for the kuburan dan bunga, tu la, kalo pokok rendang, memberi teduhan pada si mati eh. tp kalo bunga2 yg ditabur? tetiba i mcm tertanya2, betul la sama ada itu bidaah ke, sunat ke. mesti ada asal usul nape kita praktikkan kan? i nak cuba carik kuburan muslim kat sini la. tgk ada tak budaya tu.
btw, pedro thinks that i am weird when i am always intrigued by cemeteries. lol.
tengok movie valentine's day, cemetery jadi tempat tengok movie layar besar tu...
kalau kat sini dulu2 ada bukak kat padang sekolah...
err... komen takde kaitan...
i'd want to have flowers on my grave. pretty..
tapi lagi baek kalau yg ziarah tu doakan yg baek2 juga ya..
ida rasa, the flowers yg the visitors bwk, most probably loved ones, remind them how lovely, beautiful and sweet the missing one was to them. bringing the flowers is like a symbolism. mcm kasi bunga on V-Day..
about the degup2 thingy.. well, hope it is mutual, that he felt the same way~
i would love to experience that too :D
owh. i tot org letak bunga wangi2 sebab zaman dulu mungkin kubur dikorek anjing atau bomoh jahat korek kubur untuk dapatkan minyak dagu mayat perempuan bunting anak sulung lepas tu tertinggal cebisan daging mayat yang busuk so org kampung pun pakat2 tanam pokok jasmin atau kemboja kat kuburan...
ok. tanggapan aku salah.
ida tu mcm nak kena buat landscaping je atas kuburannya.
hahahahha khai, lu kejam laa. tp konsep lu ni dah tahap bidaah tahap tinggi. gua tak pnah dgr pon. tetiba ada tertinggal cebisan daging plak dah. lol.
ida, kalo u buat lanscaping pon, harapnye tak makan space org sblh la ye tak. lol.
yupp... bunga ditabur atau ditanam sbb bunga pun zikir..same goes for batu2.. thats why ada letak batu2 sungai dekat kubur..
back to bunga.. i tertanya2 juga knapa mandi bunga ni boleh cepatkn jodoh.. i found out that bunga, from their colours and scents.. give the positive aura to a person.. they eliminate the neggies.. and sbb bunga pun berzkir.. tu sbb org yg mandi bunga slalu nampak berseri lepas mandi..maka dgn itu, mudah la menarik benda2 yg possies, mcm jodoh kaedahnya... ada logik jugak kan..
masmera: erm, kita perlu ke mandi bunga ni? u dah try lom? maybe i should try. tp mandi bunga konsep eropah sama ke? :D
kalo batu2 pon jugak berzikir, kenapa kena pilih batu sungai? batu kelikir tak boleh ke? and do u think agama lain pon does that for the same reasons? menarik to know kan?
