weeks before the trip to pangkor (a work-related trip ok), i actually imagined the activities i'd be doing under the sun. i really cant wait for the trip to take place. august seems to be the month of weekend-island-hopping for me. so, being the outdoorsy type, i really cant wait.
from the very minute i got my legs on the jetty, i've seen myself swimming the whole evening since there was no program until 8pm. but in the evenings, my senior colleagues ask me to join them for a ride to town. so i asked them, if they r going to town for keropok2 session, i'd rather not join. i m not into it. but they persuaded me in joining them saying that they only want to jalan2 around town. fine!! followed, but we end up in a 'ikan-bilis-bargain-and buying' session. i was really pissed off coz i really am not interested (nor i care) in ikan bilis shopping. so in the end, juz to soothe myself, i went off and walk around town, in and out of each shop. and bought a tee for tomorrow's mandi laut session (whc dat too didnt happen)
frens, suddenly i m feeling tired to discuss my boring pangkor trip. to make it short, i had to switch rooms for 3 times, i didnt get to do any of the beachy activities, i had a stupid ignorant clerk for a roommate, the food was awful, and the program actually suck big time. i m bored with the school-level activities, shouting and all this nasihat2 wateva things...come on, expose me to something new la kan..they didnt even organise any outdoor activity except for aerobics in the morning..itupun, wat they did was poco-poco ( poco-poco is a line dance of which most govt servants are familiar with..originated from indonesia, brought back by some big shot of the govt, n juz becoz he fancy the dance, the whole PTD batch has to know how to dance poco-poco)..
for an instructor of poco-poco like myself(wink wink), i was bored doing that all over again. at least lets learn some other new cool moves la kan...
argh..once i m moody with the whole thing, there are so many things comes to mind to be bitch about..betul tak?
i went to pangkor last thursday. n got back here on saturday evening. the moment i was in my house, i had to call nuzul and there and then decided on hanging out with her eventhough i was kinda tired from travelling. i felt like i missed life n some civilisation n of course, wanted to make myself happy doing things I LIKE..
the things dat i like n i manage to do in pangkor were cycling and riding with one of the clerk going 1/2 of the island itself.i think that elevates my mood for the day.
and that, ladies and gentlemen is how i ended my pangkor trip.
and to my dismay, there is another trip to pangkor..sigh..and seriously, i'm looking BACKWARDS for the trip ..nyieh nyieh
pictures? did anyone mention pictures? (hehe perasan)
i'll try to upload them today..check this page later yeah ;)
