tougher on the lover

have we ever realized that we've always been tougher on our lover?

our words could actually sounds harsher when uttered to our loved ones (this does not apply only to lovers, it could be our siblings, parents, kids, friends as well).

could it be when there is love, the other party is more sensitive? more opened to criticism and therefore felt unloved easily?

or perhaps, we are slightly insensitive and bolder with our selections of words? just because we rather not be seen as sappy or perhaps we would have wanted our loved ones live up to our perfection scale?

i think it could be both. at times, the words arent too harsh to the masses, but since the one who says it means the whole world to us, we would often find it harsh, and hence become defensive and felt unloved and we would assumed that they just dont like us anymore.

dont u guys ever had that feeling?

love is indeed a weird thing to share.

it's boldness, it's kindness, it's frankness.
it's just too much, but it is an essential feeling.

it is sweet , but bitter nonetheless.
it is bitter, but sweet altogether.

to those lovers who are having a rough ride, think again of what i've just said.
in love is more than just living together and get laid.
