nasihat dari kakak

i was listening to FlyFm Fix It this morning. so there is this one girl named Nurul Iman was crying on the radio telling everyone that a Zulkifli from Penang who is studying in Shah Alam now has just broke up with her. and she had to tell him la that she loves him bla bla bla. well, frankly i was laughing when i had to listen to her problem. ye la, we were young once. we too had our bits of crying our heart out (not the bit of calling the radio just to share with the world of your failing love life that is. huhu).

so today, i think, i just want to address this entry to her, dgn memberi kata2 nasihat and panduan on what she should do in her life. heh. (mcm aku pandai sgt aje. haha.)

okay, listen to this, adik Iman. Ni kakak nak bgtau ni. there is no point of crying at this time already. if he wants to break up with u biar la. frankly, long distance relationship can hardly work. plus, i think he must have had enough from u.

i am sure by u being so far, u expect him to call everyday don't u. and expects him to text u constantly, kan? and most of the time when u called, when he is out having fun/lunch/study groups, u suspected there must be some other good looking smart girls around him kan?

pasal tu he was kinda letih with u. well, at least i was pretty letih to have an exbf who expects me to text him frequently, that he called me so many times a day. i rasa rimas. so i m sure this Zulkifli guy felt the same way.

another thing girl, trust me, that this is not gona be your only break up. in future, there'll be a few more break ups before u tie the knot or before u die. so, after crying so much and so many times, trust me, breaking up is just like another bad hair day.

it would come to an extend when u would just go like "nak break up ke? ok-lah. this relationship pon dah mcm takde hala tuju dah pon.". or " eh, where has my bf gone? just left me? haih. whatever la!" .

and by then u would realize that the one u cried your lungs out for was not among the best boyfriend u had. and rasa tak berbaloi that u wasted your youth on him. but nevertheless, the first break up is pretty essential in becoming a more confident and sophisticated u la kan? ;)

i give u the most a month of moping la kan. after a month, pls gather yourself again, and start your dating/flirting routine back. coz life is too bloody short to focus on one organism yang obviously tidak mendatangkan manfaat to you physically and mentally. heh.

sekian, nasihat daripada kakak ni. if any of you guys are friends of Nurul Iman, pls let her know of my kind intentions.

hasta luego.

i was thinking bout the same thing la. tapi i baca majalah remaja ari tu. that girl umurnya 22 tahun cerita pasal tidak dapat melupakan exbf. katanya dia tidak dapat hidup tanpa the exbf. and she is 22. huuu. i geram jer nak jawab. hey, adik banyak lagi benda yang lebih berharga dalam hidup ni. and u're just 22. and the rest is the same point yang u bagi kat adik fly fm ni jugak lah.
menangis la. nak berkabung sekalipun, tapi cepat2 nanti bangun balik. life is much more than that. at least that's what i ve been saying to myself. huhu. :P

heard the same thing on radio gak...
couldn't concentrate on the road with the massive traffic jam and the girl whining unnecessarily.

had to change stations to save my life.

hi there. was hopping around, n itched to leave a mark. tumpang lalu ye..

there's quite a lot i want to say in riposte (to some of the comments even),
but suffice to say that these mistakes or experiences of these young ppl are quite essential for them to make.

if we didn't make (or see the ppl around us make) the mistakes we did/saw, we wouldn't be as wise - for a given degree of wisdom - as we are today.
so let them make these mistakes. just don't do the same ones again.. =p

oh n one more thing. no matter how many times you break up;
if love or any kind of strong feelings was ever truly in the equation, scars to the heart does not come separately. (imho at least)

owh klahiko, how true your statements are. in no way could i disagree.

essential no less, but mistakes need to be learned. the wise should guide the young (aku la tu. LOL. i mean, i am the wise la kan.)

i am letting nurul iman make her mistake, but i m telling her not to dwell on it. life is too short. start now.;)
