Jom Read

as i have stated before, it's high time for us malaysians to re-do our reading statistics. i mean, c'mon, my stats shouldn't be helping any of u guys. u guys are pulling my average statistics down.

so anyways, in order for us to start somewhere, and perhaps since not much that our pockets can do in increasing the number of books we read, or accelerate the rate of reading that we've been doing, i bet this current project by Jumy and his tight mates would solve this part.

it's Jom Read! where these cool dudes would actually mail u a book of any title (assuming that u opted for 'I Love Surprises!' plan) in hoping that u would start reading them and get done with it in 2 months time, and say if u dont fancy the title, u could always change it for another title. (as mysteriously as the first one u got though).

it would be the privilege of those who opted for 'I Love Choices' though to get a full listing of the books they have, which i have to say, could last you at least 5 years (assuming that u read a book a month).

but anyways, let these folks do their bit in promoting themselves. am writing this out just because i have faith in it, and i personally support these kinds of projects (despite i have yet to join the club for i have at least 15 more books to go heh!) and support my best friend and his friends with whatever cool practical ideas they have.

interested?? click on the logo i have on the right of my blog. u guys should know that i never fancy having links on my blog, but since this is a special project and i have so much faith in it and them, i'll have this link permanently on it. the logo might change over the years, or the project might come to a halt someday, but today, it is happening! right here, right now. Join in, and let the book circle begin!

I love the fact that you are being realistic.

9 out of 10 new projects will fail, and this law of averages works like charm every time.

Cheers!

p.s. Thanks for your support!

At the moment, I am reading a book per month and am looking forward to seeing the book rack at my place being filled with great books (instead of glossy magazines, haha).

My problem though was always about choosing the right book that would keep me going, AND even challenge my intellectual, opening new horizon. So, this project is right for me. Great idea.
